Appendix A: AI Declaration

ChatGPT 5.2 (https://openai.com/)
Used for language editing and to discuss the formulation of the main research question. I used the suggestions as a starting point and adapted them to the context of the assignment. I also used ChatGPT 5.2 to create the illustration on page 15 of the submission.

Consensus (https://consensus.app/)
Used for literature searching to find relevant academic articles related to exercise motivation. The tool suggested search strings and relevant articles, which I followed up in the PubMed database. I did not use the tool to produce text.

GPT UiO (https://gpt.uio.no/)
Used to suggest topics, research questions, hypotheses, and study questions for the assignment. I did not use the tool to write entire paragraphs or chapters, but used the suggestions as a starting point and developed them further.

NotebookLM (https://notebooklm.google/)
Used to summarise and synthesise key findings from previously collected empirical material, and to support the structuring of the discussion chapter. All text has been written by me.

OpenAlex (https://openalex.org/)
Used to identify key researchers and research environments within sport psychology. This contributed to a broader literature overview. The tool was not used to produce text.
